TEA PARTY

SNAP! Magazine
Paper crafts & Set Design for Editorial
Launch date: November 2011

Conceptualized for a private wedding shower in a Westmount home, different traditions were utilized within the installation. In this case the Bridal Tea; a formal occasion for the ladies on both sides of the wedding party to get together and chat over lime sherbet punch, tiny petite fours and, mixed nuts and pastel tea mints.
Granted carte blanche on the project I was able to experiment & exaggerate the femininity & rituals of the event in unexpected detail. Made for real purpose use, as the party begins, much of the table will alter to guests discretion & involvement in the events engagement’s, allowing a consistent rebirth of the installations original purpose.

Light Church & floral/ bell props fabricated out of paper & styled with fine porcelain, silver-wear, edibles, linens balloons, and other various items found in my clients & her neighbors china cabinets.
